7 TIPS TO TAKE BEST PHOTOGRAPH OF NEWBORNS

The fresh feeling of parenthood is so precious that you should document it to cherish it for life. The best way to do that is to have the newborn’s portraits clicked. The process can be quite daunting, which is why this post aims to bring you 7 tips to take best photograph of newborns.

• Lighting is everything: one of the most common mistakes people make while photographing newborns is using the artificial lightings. Never do that, it may scare the baby. Instead look for natural light. Also, don’t forget to turn your flash off.

• Know your camera: point and shoot cameras do everything automatically. But if your camera is manual, or you like to play with the colours, contrast, and ISO, make sure to be sure about all the settings before you lose the moment.

• Get can did: the most treasured clicks you will find will be the ones in which you have captured the natural instincts of your child. Never ask your kid to say cheese; but just wait that magic moment. You’ll love the result.

• Don’t leave your camera: you never know which moment brings a cute smile on your baby’s face. No amount of camera tips will do here if you don’t have a camera. Always carry it when you are around your kid.

• Pay attention to the background: dirty laundry or homely toys can spoil the frame and the moment may never come back, and sometimes no amount of Photoshop can help you. So, before you start with the session, push out every odd thing that falls in the frame.

• Hire a pro: believe it or not, there is no substitute for professionals. There’s a huge difference between a casual click and a carefully executed image. A beautifully composed photo is worth more than thousands of amateurish clicks.

• Keep clicking: over-shoot; digital photography is free. It usually takes 10 clicks to get a single good frame.
